As part of the 2025 National Assembly of the Republic of Korea–United States Congress Youth Exchange Program, the youth delegation paid an official visit to the Korea Inter-Parliamentary Exchange Center (KIPEC) office in Washington, D.C. This visit aimed to strengthen exchanges between the future generations of Korea and the United States and to deepen participants’ understanding of the importance and role of inter-parliamentary diplomacy between the two nations.

The delegation received a comprehensive briefing on the background of KIPEC’s establishment, its organizational structure, and major initiatives. In particular, the participants gained meaningful insight into KIPEC’s function as a vital diplomatic channel between the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea and the United States Congress.

The visit also included in-depth discussions on key international issues faced by both countries, such as trade, security, and technological competition. A dynamic Q&A session followed, enabling participants to exchange perspectives on a range of global challenges.
